Garbriel Garcia Marquez 1927 - 2014 [235]
Photograph by Helmut Newton.
Gabriel Garcia Marquez, (1927 - 2014), the Nobel Prize winning novelist, lit the world with his magic realism glowing from the fictional town of Macando. He wrote about love and death in a way no one ever has before or since. If you haven't dipped into Garcia-Marquez's world, begin here: One Hundred Years of Solitude or here, Love in the Time of Cholera. RIP master story teller.
